Buying from a Builder

“I want to buy a new home from a builder. I don’t need a Realtor … Do I ?”

It’s tempting to assume that new construction is sound construction, but that’s not always the case. There are many factors to consider when purchasing a new home and they can seem overwhelming if you don’t have the right resources available to you. Some of these factors include; investigating the builder, evaluating the location, getting a thorough inspection, negotiating the upgrades you want, spending countless hours researching ads and driving around town. You need someone who has experience in all of these areas and can help guide you through this process by keeping you informed of all your options. In addition, the builder pays me from their marketing dollars or other funds so my services come at no cost to you!

Some other important points to consider:
  • Having me represent you WILL NOT affect the price of your new home.
  • Most contracts favor builders NOT buyers.
  • Unlike some other agents, I will accompany you to your contract signing in order to look out for your interests.
  • I provide access to qualified home inspectors who will make sure your home exceeds all quality standards.

You can avoid costly mistakes by having the right representation! Remember, I must accompany you upon your FIRST VISIT TO ANY BUILDER in order for representation to be established. My hope is that you would allow me to serve you and walk with you through the entire new home buying experience. My MLS access provides me with information on hundreds of new homes throughout the Valley. Call me today to get started with your new home search!
